My Hands Are Tied

My hands are tied can be a get out of a request answer, or it can be where we stand when any and every thing we try or need to do meets obstacles. Fighting city hall is an example, dissuading a loved one from tyeing their future to a loser is another example. Sometimes all you can do is stand there and watch the train wreck occur.

I'm reminded by this card that it is usually when a situation is connected with other people that we find our hands tied; and there is a good reason for that. Hard to stomach but we aren't always right, and our way isn't the only way things can be done. It is a perfect time to think outside the box, look for new resolutions, and/or to swallow our pride and do something someone else's way.
