Ever Evolving

Daily Draw: International Icon Tarot ~ Wheel of Fortune

The Wheel is easy to take at face value in a reading and get on with the day. We all know what goes up must come down, we have good times and bad times, yadayada... This is an iconized rendering of the 1909 Rider-Waite Wheel; the various medieval French and Italian deck Wheels are absolutely loaded with symbology to draw on. An entire thesis could be based on this card.

I'm reminded by this card that we get out of life what we put into it. We can drift on the surface, we can deliberately bury ourselves in the mire, or we can daily make an effort to evolve. There is no starting or stopping place, no demarcation lines, only our own path to follow to the end.

  1. I really like the clear simplicity of the International Icon Tarot. Also wanted to let you know that I first saw the Ancient Feminine Wisdom cards on your blog. I couldn't find them at any local stores but stumbled upon them on a little bookstore in PA. THANK YOU for introducing me to this deck! - Starlily

  2. Nice weblog!!! Like it that you post on a regular basis.
    Will be back for sure.
