Daily Draw: Celtic Wisdom Tarot ~ Knight of Swords

We are living through amazing times this year. The knights have finally realized they do have power and the old kings are falling. I've long wondered why this hasn't happened long before now.

I'm reminded by this card change like this isn't pretty, my country's history is living proof, but one man with ultimate power is the epitome of ugly, inside and out, regardless of what high ideals he may have had when he started down that path. One man with that power 20, 30, or 40 years poisons the heart of his country. One man standing alone seldom changes anything, but together it may be possible to see a better world.

"One alone in a Chinese square confronted tanks,
while others fled. He stood for freedom for us all."
Jimmy Carter 1924-

  1. Who would have dreamed such changes could have happened in the world? When those knights looking for truth and justice get on their horses and ride, the dominoes start falling.
We're huge fans of JC (your quote); he was stuck between a rock and a hard place as a president, but after his term he really set out to make a difference in the world. Richard just went to hear him speak on President's Day, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
    Thanks for the hug!
