Is this boy's night out or the last supper?
I'm reminded by this card there is a time and place for both type of gathering, but as it relates to this chapter in the Ship of Fools, Sebastian Brant would roll over in his grave if he knew people use credit cards to pay for meals out. Talk about literally flushing your money down the toilet...
From the Narrenschiff: Of Gluttony and Profligacy
"He rightly falls into certain future poverty,
Who always craves pretension and excess,
and keeps company with spendthrifts." ~ Sebastian Brant 1494
Boys night out.
ReplyDeleteIt might be the last supper if the credit card bill comes rolling in...
