The Egyptians thought they were the most advanced civilization in their world...until they saw the Hittites had horses. And they didn't. Those horses to the Egyptians were like the computer to the modern world. One key thing that changed everything.
I'm reminded by this card there are nine horses in this deck. A page and four knights have one, plus Strength, Sun, Chariot, and Fool. Six white, one yellow, one black, one brown. Although I've been told there is no such thing as a brown horse. There is no point to this post, I'm too fuzzy to be clever, but being detail oriented I'm wondering if these horses were switched to motors what would these eight be driving, and why so many white horses? And are there any decks with more horses in it? And what do the theme decks like the Ferret, or the Crow, use for the knight's mode of transport?
have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as
though it had an underlying truth." ~ Umberto Eco 1932-
The cards open previously closed doors to my own heart with their merciless quest for the truth, nothing but the truth. They flay the soul and make me say thank you afterward. Each hour spent with my cards is a new lesson to be learned. Viva la Journey.
