What Can I Say?

Daily Draw: Songs For The Journey Home Tarot ~ 8 of Cups

What can I say, there is now an empty chair at our family table. My little sister died at 5 AM this morning, after, as the obits say, a short illness. I held her and rocked her until the warmth left her body and I knew she was really gone from us. She was my 10th birthday present. The best one I ever got.

"Stay for me there; I will not fail to meet thee in that hollow vale. And think not much of my delay; I am already on the way." ~ Henry King 1592-1669

  1. Sharyn - my deepest condolences.
Being an older sister myself, I have no words to express my feelings. We can only hope that our beloved ones who have gone feel no grief no pain anymore (and I believe so).

    I am so sorry.:(
