Yesterday I said the same thing, in 27 words. Pick yer poison.
The cards sometimes present what we might interpret as a sense of humor. Love this deck but the courts make me roll my eyes. This morning I shuffled, fanned, and drew in succession, Spider Woman of the West. Brahma of the East. Odin of the North. Feeling a little cocky today I shouted fie on you and took another draw. Ahh. 10 of Swords. Serves me right, redraws are for babies. So I'll tackle them all, here is my Reader's Digest Condensed version.
- Spider Woman: Her calm demeanor and the labyrinth shows I know one of the key movers in my epic battle against depression. At center I have a probable cancer in my right lung found when they did the calibrations for breast radiation in 2011. Small, very small.
- Brahma: Until my friend Judy said it yesterday it never crossed my mind that a magic miracle could happen and I'd get out of this life alive. Brahma says think outside the box, there are more worlds than these. I'm an exceeding practical person, but even I can allow hope combined with the real world grunt work of general health duties. It has doubled in size, but is still small, very small.
- Odin: Hung upside down with a side of elephant legs and black spot...Odin chose to hang suspended. I don't. I stand on my own legs and go forward.
- 10 of Swords: Yes. I know some verdicts are written in stone and all these swords go into the same area, straight down embedded. But..at the bottom there are sword tips from somewhere else, at odd angles. Some one is down there tunneling, weakening the foundation of the ten. Shhh..Me, it's me! Google cancer miracles. And allow me my hope.

They found a spot on my husband's lung well over 25 years ago (when he decided to quit smoking immediately). He's still here... :) As much as I like to be practical, I know there is infinitely more mystery than knowledge floating around in the universe. Keep googling my friend... (((S)))
ReplyDeleteI know, we've all got spots on our lungs, we live in a dirty world and it is unavoidable. But they don't increase in size and have irregular margins; I just can't believe with my positive nature it didn't cross my mind before that precedent says I can conceivably disappear it. To that end, watch my dust ;)

Love your long entries!
ReplyDeletePulling for you and your best health.
I just tested this deck myself and have to say I share your dislike for the courts. I forgot to include that in my review and I can't really put my finger on why I don't like the courts. I'll probably have to think about it a bit. I hope you'll get your miracle! Sending you lots of positive energy!!!
ReplyDeleteHug given this end ... and now it is time to return the favour, so your turn to give yourself a hug. or claim an extra from Rod. Or both.
