Daily Draw: Enchanted Tarot ~ Hermit
The companion book asks us to open at random the book we are reading to receive Hermit advice. That would be my Artist's Way morning pages. It fell open at January 28, 2002. Which presented the task of writing a letter to ourselves at eighty years old.
Three oversize pages, if I decide to pitch the journal I'll keep these, which cover everything from grief and acceptance, to Charles Manson, Emporium t-shirts to grace and growth... I would recommend this Hermit-ish task to anyone.

I've heard so many people recommend "The Artist's Way" for so many years, it's about time I got myself a copy.
ReplyDeleteI would love to know what the 80 yr. old Sharyn would think of the letter the younger one wrote. :)
It is a day book, designed to carry through day by day. You could of course take 6 years to do it. I did it with 12 other ladies, and as always, I was the last man standing :)
ReplyDeleteFor me, the key to success was doing all the tasks, not picking and choosing.
It is a little churchy but that doesn't color the good offered.
What a fun idea. I don't remember seeing that in the book! I'll have to try it.
