Learn And Teach

Daily Draw: Tarot of the Origins ~ Magician

The Fool, unformed, begins the path to knowledge with the Magician,
who represents anyone we meet who teaches, and us, when we teach others.

I'm reminded by this card, we walk in both worlds from birth to death.
Never knowing what we will learn and what we will impart each day.

"Words itch at our ears until we understand them." ~ Walt Whitman 1819-1892

  1. I can so relate to Whitman's quote! So how do you like the Origins deck?

  2. These paintings on these cards are stunning. What an underrated deck. I always remember looking at it in London many times. Enjoying your draws with it. The last two cards (Tower and Death) are beautiful.

  3. it is a favorite, always has been. I can see why it isn't particularly popular with readers who prefer the RWS familiarity. The LWB is excellent too, in that you get a real feel for what the artist was working toward.

    1. An excellent LWB? Now that is as rare a hen's teeth...

I welcome your thoughts. Good bad or indifferent; opinions are the lifeblood of conversation and I always learn something from a new point of view. Thank you for visiting, Sharyn
