A to B

Daily Draw: Sacred Sites Tarot ~ Ace of Coins

Machu Picchu Peru, 1500. Summer Palace?  Cheyenne Mountain? Who knows, an amazing village, abandoned by its makers. A cut rock citadel by Incans who had no knowledge of the wheel or iron or steel to carve or move rock.  Surmise, conjecture, speculation will always be the flavor of the day for a people who had no written language.

I'm reminded by this card of abilities, outstripped by the knowledge and tools to use them. Many Ace of Coins get started this way.  We have the idea, clear cut in our head, but no idea of how to actually get from A to B. If one hundred of us were put in a room and told to complete a minor complex task, how many ways would it be done?

"Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill." ~ Barbara W. Tuchman  1912-1989
