Daily Draw: Merryday Tarot ~ Ace of Swords/Air Dragon

Truth. Reality. Authenticity. There are many words for truth.

And each word hints at a way to skirt around it.

"All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them." ~ Galileo Galilei 1564-1642

  1. Your post reminded me of a story told by Krishnamurti:
“You may remember the story of how the devil and a friend of his were walking down the street, when they saw ahead of them a man stoop down and pick up something from the ground, look at it, and put it away in his pocket. The friend said to the devil, “What did that man pick up?” “He picked up a piece of Truth,” said the devil. “That is a very bad business for you, then,” said his friend. “Oh, not at all,” the devil replied, “I am going to let him organize it."

    1. Truth is sort of like the seeds that have to pass through the elephant before they can be cracked...

  2. A mirror is good place to face the truth, the only thing is,it's sometimes really challenging to really look yourself in the eye. I spent the afternoon with my sisters and looking at us I had to face a truth. Yikes!

    1. I've always thought you don't have to like someone just because they are related. And sometimes you can love them and not like them.

I welcome your thoughts. Good bad or indifferent; opinions are the lifeblood of conversation and I always learn something from a new point of view. Thank you for visiting, Sharyn
