Daily Draw: Da Vinci Tarot ~ 10 of Swords/Air

Dimmi: What do you have to relinquish?

The idea that I'm not sick? I just canceled a 9 AM doctor requested appointment. Tough noogies. I have enough on my plate without someone digging into my brain. And the lawn needs mowed.

"Never relinquish the initiative." ~ Charles de Gaulle 1890-1970

  1. Why is it that when you want (and need) an appointment, it takes months to get one; then when you don't want (or need) one, they fill your calendar full.

  2. I feel just like you when it comes to doctors appointments and as expressed in card, like its some form of punishment. I don't like doctors and or the nurse practitioners that I am usually delegated to. Cutting grass and being outdoors is a much better prescription for your health. Carp Diem!

  4. My surgery frequently offer me appointments I don't want or need. When I don't go they 'punish' me by threatening to remove me from the practice list. I've started going because it is less time consuming than using the phone line to explain why I don't need the appointment! Total waste of taxpayers money!

Hope you enjoyed your garden time!

  5. Kaiser is really good, In 20 or more years I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes when I arrive for an appointment. It was my fault..they'd asked if I minded having a PA intern first. It was her last day as an intern and smartarse that I am I thought I'd give her something to remember the day by. 'Nuff said.

I've got just short of 10,000 steps in already and it is only 10 AM now. And I've discovered my yard has developed three crop circles of mushrooms about five feet across. amazing. And the lilacs are perfect for picking, how cool is that?

    1. Your yard sounds wonderful. It is indeed amazing what we see when we immerse ourselves in nature. Happy Spring!
