Here And Not Here

Daily Draw: Native American Tarot ~ Devil

Wanagi Yuhapi, the ghost keeping ceremony. Performed to guide or support the dead in a year of ritual.

Across cultures and beliefs, death is a string that ties us all. A million ways to die, a million ways to be dead. All comes to the same thing. Gone.

"Every cradle asks us, "Whence?" and every coffin, "Whither?" ~  Robert Green Ingersoll  1833-1899

  1. I always liked the saying "the devil is in the details" I speculate on the word devil, spelled backwards it is lived. Something about the letters spelled one way or the other is the answer to the 'detail'

  2. We arrive alone, we die alone and in this we are all together

  3. Reminds me of the Jewish tradition of saying kaddish for a 11 months. I remember doing that for Dwaas on AT with a group of others.
