Obsessions

Daily Draw: Roots of Asia Tarot ~ 10 of Wands

Obsessions and the ties that bind us. In Buddhist practice there are many ways to get to this point, the one that rings bells with me is a false view of individuality.

I'm reminded by this card of all the ways I lemming in spite of fervently trying to distance myself from the crowd. Did I go wrong at birth?

  1. I can't see you as a lemming unless you actually like what the group is doing. :)

    1. it is out of print, but comes up ever so often on Ebay in the 50-60 dollar range, probably more on yours than ours, because it is also in Spanish and German. One of my top 10 favorites. I do consult the companion booklet to get the Buddhist viewpoint

    2. Oh good - I'll watch out for it. So lovely I'd be happy to get Spanish or German version and try and learn the lingo!

  3. The tiger and eagle were born a tiger and eagle and will die a tiger and eagle. Same with us; we are who we are. We don't have to carry all that crap that others tell us we could or should be. A lesson I am just beginning to understand.
