Doorstops

Daily Draw: Animal Totem Tarot ~ King of Swords/Bald Eagle

Perspective, and total focus on the moment. Sounds kind of nice, no good/bad/indifferent memory and problems to weigh on the mind, muddying up that focus.

I'm reminded by this card, that wouldn't be for me. Without our context we'd just be doorstops.

  1. I suppose that is why the tarot is made up of four suits, not just one. :)

    1. I think that is one of the hardest thing for new readers to realize, the suits are not dimensional by necessity.

  2. What is the golden ringlet the eagle holds, Crown or collar? I guess either would be something the King is bound to. Perspective is everything, it defines us and keeps us from being a chunk of wood.

    1. That caught my eye too. The gold is very striking against the dark greys.

  3. That's why I love to imagine I am being surrounded by Four Queens. Each of them has her own perspective :)

  4. Taken out of context I must seem so strange - true sometimes behaviours that are valued in one context are not so welcome in another.

I welcome your thoughts. Good bad or indifferent; opinions are the lifeblood of conversation and I always learn something from a new point of view. Thank you for visiting, Sharyn
