Armchair Traveler

Daily Draw: Tarot of the Sephiroth ~ Chariot

This morning, thinking on this card, I've been from the Diavik Diamond Mine to North Sentinel Island. So radically different as to be not on the same planet.

I'm reminded by this card travel broadens you. If you allow it to.

  1. My mom has been to over 50 different countries since she has retired from teaching. She told me some people in the travel groups might as well have stayed home because they constantly complain about the food or other amenities not being like what's in the U.S.

    1. I know a man like that. Has traveled extenively, and only wants food from McDonalds and to stay in american type hotels. I've never heard him say on interesting thing about the places he has been. To each their own but I think his money could be better spent touring America

  2. North Sentinel Island 'the most dangerous place in the world' according Forbes. Really? Clearly the residents don't like visitors but other than that keeping themselves to themselves...

  3. I see you have drawn The Chariot, mastery of movement. This Chariot bookends the one drawn 2 weeks ago. Question asked, have you found your answer? I hope that you have.

    1. thanksfor pointing that out. I did move a bit between those to two chariots and wanting to get some more reading in. A lady in UK offered me a horary reading. Knowing nothing I said sure. Horary is an astrology brance that just does timing. You ask a yes no question and the reader come back with all kinds of stuff. Long story short...I know, I do go on. I pulled a card for each section, and sort of did a reading back on the same subject. I think we really came out at the same spot. Baby steps :)

  4. I am not the traveling kind. After a week or so I start to get homesick and I long for simple things like our library, peanutbutter and my own bed

    1. I would say I'm 15% homebody. I have enjoyed everywhere I've been, but I do like to be home with my chickens and dogs :)
