Gringotts

Daily Draw: Victorian Fairy Oracle ~ Devil/Goblin Market

I think our shady Gringotts Goblin has the pulse of the customers. It doesn't need to be exotic elixirs and fruits of secret origin, we can find our own unneeded wants.

I've talked about my 'three week rule' and rhinestone brooch addiction, The rule works for me, and believe it or not, taking my Ebay search out of bookmarks cured the rhinestone banquet.

I just realized I now have five pair of cute tennis shoes though, up from an inherited pair and the lawn mowing pair.. That peculiar itch needs to be stomped. With a cute tennie. Go away you goblin.

  1. I am proud to say that, besides a large copy of the Thoth tarot, I haven't bought any new decks! Three weeks rule is a rule to remember!

    1. good to see you again, I understand your vacillating feelings about keeping up a blog, do what makes you happy. One of the reasons I closed the quilting blog is because they got so commercialized.

  2. I am enchanted with that Goblin/Devil card; I believe I have been in his shop. I am just about done with loafers and ready to go to tennis shoes again, and yes I could easily own five pairs.

    1. just makes you want to dicker a deal doesn't he. Famous Brands shoe stores are where I found my tennies.

  3. "Unneeded wants" - now that is a goblin indeed. My daughter rescued a kitten from the library where she works (it kept trying to get inside and then followed people out to their cars). Introducing her (a gray furball of nonstop energy) to my two elderly cats has been a time-sapping process, as has trying to keep her off of or out of places she shouldn't be (it's quite like having a toddler in the house). Lia has kept me so busy, the goblin hasn't had time to entice me with decks, books, etc. But kitten toys are another story... :D

  4. both my cats and little companion Pomeranian died the same month, it took more than four years to be where I could welcome a cat in again.
Totally fun. A man whose cat went missing in the 2006 hurricane got him back this week. Power of chips!
