Private and Secretive

Daily Draw: Shaman's Oracle ~ Ancestor of Boundaries

No one ever said it but the rule growing up was keep family matters at home. Flash forward fifty years and family is often the last to hear, everything being shouted to social media.

Natural photos now look odd because selfies give a reverse image. That reverse is not skin deep anymore, but taken beyond reasonable boundaries.

I used to be private, even secretive, seldom sharing what was important to friends, or even Rob. Wordsmithing this blog over eleven years has exposed all there is to know about me. I'm no different than the average twerker.

My shaky saving grace is I write for myself. Or do I?

  1. Those who write mostly for themselves or a few close friends use blogs; those who enjoy attention use Facebook. :)

  2. I used to very private about a lot of things. Then I got in sales, and I have heard just about everything so if I do let something slip, who cares, most people are still more interested in their own stories and won't remember what you said. Besides there is always 'fake news'

  3. There's something satisfying about seeing your own written words in print. Isn't that why every writer wants to be published and now we all can? -Kate

  4. I think a good early life lesson would be to really learn, other people care little for what we value. Bad hair day? No one cares. :)

I welcome your thoughts. Good bad or indifferent; opinions are the lifeblood of conversation and I always learn something from a new point of view. Thank you for visiting, Sharyn
