Daily Draw: Morgan Greer Tarot ~ 2 of Wands

This card has come up so often this summer, signifying all the decisions we are currently making. Long term and short term. Would that we had a crystal ball to see what effect those decisions would have on our life in the long run. This 2 of Wands seems full of promise for healthy new growth with new leaves on the wands and buds on the flowers and green verdant background. I notice too there are two people in this card...see the third hand? One of our biggest decisions involves and impacts 4 people directly, and many more in a ripple effect. Great care in handling is required or that ripple will become an unpleasant boomerang effect.

Today I choose to focus on the feather in the hat, of significance in this card because it signals a knowing, an instinctual knowledge so critical to a successful outcome...and sometimes you just have to wing it.

"There are simply no answers to some of the great pressing questions. You continue to live them out, making your life a worthy expression of leaning into the light." ~ Barry Lopez

This well-worn Morgan Greer deck from 1979, designed by William Greer and Lloyd Morgan is the workhorse deck of the week. How odd is this...there was an extra card with this deck and it was a 2 of Wands.
