Daily Draw: Renaissance Tarot ~ Ace of Cups

The Ace of Cups is the wellhead for our emotional fertility and creative inspiration, a lovely card to draw for this first day in September. We are in the process of enlarging on and forging a new style of family relationships, and this weekend we are completing our last big must-do project. Like Mr. Humphries in Are You Being Served, I'm very close to being able to say "I'm Free".

A while back I indicated I was sorting and gathering UFOs. Unfinished Objects of the creative sort, in my case quilts. Turns out, I'm embarrassed to say, there were fourteen. 3 or 4 of them were even very nearly finished. So that is the thrust of my creative side this Autumn and winter, finishing the old, while we work on the newly forming family relationships. Sounds like a peaceful and exciting match to me.

I'm reminded by this card there is more than one facet to everything, layers of feelings, layers of knowledge, layers of viewpoints. This keeps life rich and entertaining. I raise my Ace of Cups to what comes.

"Ideas not coupled with action never become bigger than the brain cells they occupy" ~ Arnold H. Glasgow

The deck this week is The Renaissance Tarot, illustrated by Helen Jones, book by Jane Lyle.
