Little, RIP

Daily Draw: Shining Tribe Tarot ~ 9 of Stones

She has disciplined her nature, embodied the stars, found her spirit.

I'm surprised to find this card coming up for me, I'm frayed to the breaking point but perhaps it is a promise. I'm going home to stay for a few days, the first time since spring. I need to unravel and then knit myself back up stronger to paraphrase Jean Cocteau. Yes, it is a promise, I will be the 9 of Stones lady again shortly.

"I know why the caged bird sings, ah me,
when his wing is bruised and his bosom sore;
when he beats his bars and he would be free,
it is not a carol of joy or glee,
but a prayer that he sends from his heart's deep core."
Paul Laurence Dunbar 1872-1906
