Daily Draw: Magical Forest Tarot ~ Tower

Poor Old Tower. Rather than us us us and Tower moments, let's think about the Tower itself for a minute. True Tower moments change us irrevocably so it stands to reason they also change the what and who we surround ourselves with. Oh Dem Bones, the foot bone is connected to the ankle bone syndrome.

This card has made me think back across my last five Tower events, and yes, it had impact on the people I am closest to, where I live, and how I live while there. That is a boatload of power to draw down on us...

"I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast; for I intend to go in harm's way." ~ John Paul Jones 1747-1792

Tarot of the Magical Forest, Lo Scarabeo 2008. This is a reproduction of the Asian Hsu Chi Chun deck, artwork by Leo Tang, card stock thousandfold improved.

  1. It is easy to be self-centered during these Tower moments and forget that they also affect other people and things in our life (good point, my friend). It's like pulling one thread out of a tapestry; you would think one wouldn't change anything, but it ends up altering its appearance.

  2. I hope there are no earthquakes!! The last two times I got the Tower, once was when the Christchurch eartquake happened, and the other when the Japan one struck. Both times I had no clue what the card stood for until it happened - so it wasn't personal, at least directly. I like this little deck, it's on my wishlist.

I welcome your thoughts. Good bad or indifferent; opinions are the lifeblood of conversation and I always learn something from a new point of view. Thank you for visiting, Sharyn
