Are We There Yet?

Daily Draw: Celtic Book of the Dead ~ Island of the Eagle

Having suffered many injuries and insults to his body and mind, Maelduin and his companions are coming to the end of their journey. On this island they find berries which when crushed in the water renew mind, body, and spirit.

I'm reminded by this card if travel is a living, home is a vacation where we can knit up our raveled brow.
"Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" isn't necessarily the be all end all. In the Greenwood deck the Hermit follows Death for good reason, allowing unhurried time to rest and heal and review.

"To be worn out is to be renewed." ~  Lao Tzo 4th, 5th, or 6th century BC
