Yes, But

Daily Draw: Guardians of Wisdom ~ Knight of Coins

In its upright mode this card does have a good message about our Knight status. It takes persistence to do anything worth doing. And time. And effort. And this is a good thing. If everything were easy everyone would do it wouldn't they?

I take issue with the wording  "No matter how hard or how long". Because there lies perfectionism and obsession when clear thinking no long applies. The art of living relies on recognizing when a task is finished. And then letting go. Total difference from quitting midstream.

"This is the highest wisdom that I own; freedom and life are earned by those alone who conquer them each day anew." ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe  1749-1832

I've enjoyed working with the Guardians this week, my only quibble is the suit names. Rather than including two worlds, I would have been happier seeing all the suits as Peoples, or all the suits as Earth elementals (gnomes;  salamanders;  undines; and sylphs) or all suits of Otherworld, whatever that constitutes besides angels and goddesses.
