Distress And Disarray

Daily Draw: Santa Fe Tarot ~ 5 of Rainbows/Wands

When I start a new deck/new week I always check on the authors/artists. Holly Huber is now dealing with multiple sclerosis and her sister Tracy LeCocq seems to have had her  money and identity stolen.

The 5 of Wands discord can also mean fighting personal battles. Which we often have to tackle from various points giving us a type of multiple personality. The warrior, ombudsman, sad sack, penitent, and more, are all there within us, to be called on in time of distress and disarray. Thankfully. We couldn't get through life being just 'one'.

"A multiple personality is in a certain sense normal ~ George Herbert Mead 1863-1931

The Santa Fe Tarot, by Holly Huber and Tracy LeCocq, published by US Games Systems 1993. The art expresses the story of the five stages of the emergence of the native Peoples. Card images are presented as sand paintings with figures face on and considered to be facing east. Suits are Rainbow/Wands, Water/Cups, Lightening/Swords, and Buffalo/Coins The kit includes a 175 page softcover companion book.

  1. IT might be interesting to list all the parts of our personality

    1. I wouldn't do it on a post it note, I'd need a thick journal :)

  2. Your check on the creators of this deck is a good reminder that everyone has to deal with crapola at some point or another.
