Big Gray Grief

Daily Draw: Animal Totem Tarot ~ 3 of Swords/Elephant

I couldn't find proof that elephant graveyards are anything but a myth. A moot point as elephants and their fellow animals and mammals with ivory tusks and teeth are hunted to extinction.

I'm reminded by this card the idea of a romantic death isn't possible. The most we can hope for is a clean one.

    1. Never, as long as money is to be made in any way at all.

  2. I do know that elephants show grief and maybe we should grief along with them

    1. all of our animal family have shown grief over the years. Even our little 6" rooster, when his beloved, Smudge the giant Barred Rock hen died.

  3. One of the saddest things ever is to watch an animal grieve.
