Booya

Daily Draw: Greenwood Tarot ~ 4 of Coins/Stones

"I take care of what I've worked hard to get" (Signe Echols)
Which, until the new wears off is fairly true. With the probable exception of our body. This Dolmen got me to wondering how long skin and meat stay on an untreated corpse, and how long bones remain. Skin and meat, a week under the right conditions. Bones, thousands of years under the right conditions.

Looking under the Dolmen I wondered what comes back in the cremation box. Somewhere I had it in my mind that there were bones left that get raked out and? Sent to the dump? Buried in some morticians cemetery for leftovers?
Actually what comes back in the box is just bones, all that is left after 3-4 hours of 1000-1400 degrees of intense flame. Brittle ones easily broken down in a big grinder/blender.

I'd like to say I've been a good steward of my body, but I had french fries and soft ice cream yesterday. Dirt for Rob, Fire for me. Booya.

  1. French fries and ice cream seem very reasonable to me. We are our own stewards, and rest, recreation, a bit of ice cream reality is part of taking care of ourselves.

  2. When I pause long enough to listen to my body and what it needs, I usually make the right choices. But busyness can completely toss that intention right out the window.

  3. I havent bought a new deck of tarot cards for years but the Greenwood is really appealing to me to do so.

  4. They average about $300. Although I did see one go for $9.99 on a buy it now a couple years ago. There was just one printing, in 1996. Whatever you do don't get the Wildwood thinking it is close. I actually threw mine in the burn barrel it made me so mad.
