Much like today's grandparents raising their grandchildren. I sure don't have an answer, just a simmering anger that the urge to procreate without personal consequences seems a burden the world can little afford. Species drive that has outlived its usefulness.

And yet our compassionate side will always feed these little ones, because they didn't have a choice in the matter. Maybe we should teach them responsibility as well as feed them.
