Unremitting Challenge

Buckland Romani Tarot ~ 7 of Wands/Koshes

Will he have to defend his position? Or just listen to threats? In movies one man can defeat six with ease, not so in real life. In the 6 of Wands we have a victory parade, in the 8 of Wands we see speed of change.

Like knowing I'm asymmetrical, I know I'm no leader. Too impataint with muleishness, goldbrickers, lazybones.

I was listening to two women this month who both had high pressure jobs, Now to end out their working life they want something like, as one said, to work in the entrance guard shack or a toll booth...of course they won't be hired, over-qualified. But I understand, 7 of Wands can eat you alive if you don't thrive on unremitting challenge.

  1. It seems paradoxical that those who enjoy positions of power the most are those who are the worst managers, presidents, etc. and those who would be rated highly are the ones who care deeply about those they serve. Maybe that's it - one sees power and the other service.

    1. well said. Many at the top top don't have any real consequences to bad decisions that rain down on those below. Good Morning from Ashton Idaho

  2. Oh to be The Fool, and pack what we need in just a bundle. It works for awhile and then the restlessness builds and back out swinging our clubs.

    1. Hey, speaking of the fool, I heard someone use the word bindle a few days ago...a word I knew from Bev's blog a couple of years ago. Never know when a new word for the day will come in handy. I love the fool for his lack of stress.
