Joan Bunning

Ship of Fools Tarot ~ Queen of Wands/Staves

Reading tarot first crossed my mind around 2005, Barnes and Noble's offered classes on all kinds of stuff and I saw Joan Bunning's free course listed and a light bulb went off.  History, symbology, a good meaty subject, I'm in!

So I signed up, raced off to ebay for a deck and I was set. The funny part was I ordered a used copy ($5.00) of the Druidcraft Animal Oracle...not even knowing tarot was a whole different thing yet.

One of the things that stuck in my mind all these years from Joan's course was the Queen of Wands. The organizer, the herder. The get 'er done lady. All through time, where would we be without them?

  1. Her site was one I found as well when I became interested in tarot. Her information was simple and easily learned and applied; I'm not sure if my interest in tarot would have kept growing if I had not landed on her site.

  2. Guess I will read some Joan Bunnings

  3. We can learn from anything but Carolyn you are probably way beyond Joan's course. Don't know if it is still free, I think it was finally published as a book. But originally it came in an email.

I welcome your thoughts. Good bad or indifferent; opinions are the lifeblood of conversation and I always learn something from a new point of view. Thank you for visiting, Sharyn
