Let It Be

Urban Tarot ~ 9 of Cups

Whose plate is this anyway? And who is throwing that frisbee for the dog? And I don't think the different shadows are working. Why so many drinks, getting watery? I like it when a book or movie or image gives me something to think about or takes me away, but not when it throws me clear out of the setting.

This doesn't make it to 9, more an 8.2 day. It isn't raining, there is a dog, and no one is going hungry, I think. You know, we have a ton of 9 o' Cups days and we blow it by worrying about carpola. The new kleenex smells funny, there are burrs in my socks, my coffee isn't in my favorite cup... humans, pffpfft. Can't just let it be, accept the good, rise above petty.

  1. We have a natural negative bias. The trick is to balance it out by naming all the small joys too.

    1. why the negative bias though? Is it a mutated string? The wooly mammoth hunters might come by it naturally, but us? thought to think about

  2. Sharing the bounty, maybe. The family in the background has nothing on their table, so the family up front went back to the grill to get more hotdogs going. Those nine cups of beverages look to be enough for all, as long as there is sharing.
But who is throwing that frisbee?
