Townsfolk

Di Vinci Enigma Tarot ~ 2 of Cups/Water
Dimmi: What brings unity or reciprocation?

As a people watcher I'm interested to see who rises to the occasion and who sabotages, who works to heal and who tears down. Kalama has a population of 2700+ and the facebook group has 2722 members. We have a war veteran who keeps offering to come with guns if anyone has a problem. Before Covid he just posted the occasional right to carry arms memes.

Washington's lakes and streams, parks, campgrounds and beaches are all closed...and there is a very long thread because someone saw someones fishing at Kress Lake. Nazi, snitch, nark...all names in the thread, along with dire warnings of complete government control, this is just the beginning.

I get it. People are scared. Me? I'm just scared of my townsfolk.

  1. For real. If we could just get beyond 'how does this affect me' to 'how might this affect you.'

  2. With all the reports and forecasts everyone's amygdala has been activated. We are in Fight or Flight mode. I keep wanting to buy enough supplies to lock my doors for months on end. I have discovered being locked in with just me for company could also be an issue.

  3. Funny how your own problems make the bigger picture smaller. I have a boil in my nose and the doctor saying oh this is bad over and over didn't make me feel better.I am amazed how many are still maskless. Personally my nose is a mess I am thankful to wear one. My Village is 7500 people. Everything is shut down here, but some people aren't serious yet.
